Truffle to Vet

Just a quick post and we'll provide more details tomorrow. Truffle went back to the vet for a 1-month follow up from her recent bladder surgery and subsequent infection.

Truffle was scheduled to go back to her vet today at Cherokee Trail Veterinary Hospital to see Dr. Boyette.

Dr. Boyette wanted to perform a urinalysis to see if the pH levels of her urine were under 6.4 and to check the concentration of the urine. We were disappointed to see that her pH level was higher than 6.4 and her concentration was a little high. Dr. Boyette was a little concerned because it has been over 2 months since her surgery and eating the prescription food. Truffle will go back for another urinalysis in a month.

We'll provide more information about these numbers and her stones this week.

Thank you for your continued purrs and good thoughts.

  8. I'm not usually like this - I usually read instructions ad nauseam and have little sympathy for people who don't ... but THAT'S how you use the seat-belt with the Sleepypod! I just put the lap belt around it and didn't think to try to secure the top. *** embarrassed ***
