A Thanksgiving Day Dinner #ChewyInfluencer

Truffle loves turkey and knows the sound of the opening of the plastic bag that contains the turkey. Last week was Thanksgiving and everyone, especially in the South, knows that turkey is the main course at the dinner table.  Mom Paula avoided giving us any of the human turkey.  Instead, we got to eat our own Thanksgiving day feast that is delicious and nutritious.
Truffle enjoying her plate of Merrick® Purrfect Bistro® Thanksgiving Day Dinner®

We've shared our views of Merrick® Petcare cat food before and were exciting to receive the Purrfect Bistro Thanksgiving Day Dinner® from Chewy.com to review for the month of November. This recipe begins with deboned turkey and includes sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, and cranberries.  In the past, we've tended to eat around the vegetable in cat food, but Truffle cleaned her plate when she ate this food.  Not only is it delicious, but it's grain-free and has no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.  The first four ingredients listed are deboned turkey, turkey broth, deboned duck,. and chicken liver.  The best thing about the Merrick Purrfect Bistro Thanksgiving Day Dinner is that we can eat it year-round.  As you can see from the video below, Truffle really enjoyed her Thanksgiving Day Dinner.  Brulee licked most of the gravy and ate some of the turkey, which is a beginning for her.  Truffle finished off Brulee's plate.

The Merrick Purrfect Bistro Grain-Free Thanksgiving Day Dinner is available at Chewy.com in two different sizes:  3-oz case of 24 ($25.88) and a 5.5-oz. case of 24.($33.08).   The 3-oz case is purrfect for us because we don't eat a lot of food and there is plenty.  As you can see from Truffle's bowl, half of the 3-oz can fills our plate.  For households with more than two cats or who need more to eat, you may want to purchase the 5.5-oz case.

We highly recommend purchasing products from Chewy.com.  They offer free 2-day shipping with orders totaling $49+ and their customer service is excellent.  Visit their website to see all of the products available for cats and check them out on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.

  6. Truffle looks like she thoroughly enjoyed her dinner. We were at a friend's house this year so no leftovers and Mr. N didn't get any turkey!

  7. I'm not familiar with this brand of cat food, but I like the grain free option and the fact that the first ingredients are not meal and grains and all the other things I'm seeing when I read labels.

  20. Yum! This food sounds like a great way for kitty to share in a holiday meal. It would be a good one to use for Christmas too. I might have to look into getting a few cans of this for Manna and Dexter. :)

  21. Sounds like it was a hit for Truffle! I love giving our pets special meals around the holidays. I'm getting one, so it's only fair that they do too. It's great that brands make it easy to do that.
