Wellness® Complete Health™ Cat Food #HealthyMeetsHappy

Brulee and the new Complete Health™ Cat Food from Wellness®
Wellness® Complete Health™ Cat Food - Brulee gives it two paws up!!!

We've eaten Wellness® cat food since we were old enough to eat adult cat food, especially the canned food.  Mom Paula was impressed with the quality of the food and the fact that both of us would eat it (especially Brulee).  One of our biggest concerns about the food in the past was the fact that it contained carrageenan, which caused us to consider finding a new food.  All of this changed when Mom Paula talked to the representatives at Wellness and they informed her they were reformulating all of the Wellness products and they would be carrageenan-free! The newly formulated Wellness® Complete Health™ Grain Free recipes contain carefully chosen ingredients with vitamins and minerals for optimal health.  All of the recipes are free from corn, soy, wheat, artificial colors and flavors.

Even though we eat dry food, Mom Paula wants us to eat plenty of wet food to keep moisture in our diets.  Many cats are picky and don't drink enough water and a great way to get that water is by eating canned food.  Wellness realizes this and has launched five different textures to the Wellness Complete Health gravies to add both texture and moisture to a cat's diet: Minced, Sliced, Pate, Morsels, and Gravies.  The variety of flavors and textures deliver quality nutrition without fillers that are carrageenan-free that any cat should love.

Brulee doesn't want to wait for Mom Paula to open the bag of Wellness® Complete Health™ cat food

There are three new Grain-Free options in the Complete Health Line of dry food recipes. As you can tell from the photo above, Brulee didn't want to wait for the bag to be opened!  The Complete Health recipes for cats combine natural, premium proteins to deliver a balanced diet full of nutrients we cats need for a lifetime of well being.

  1. We will have to revisit Wellness - Binga and Boodie used to eat it, but I've never had it.

  4. Wow. Your graphics are stunning! Bear's taken to the Wellness foods too ... he'll even eat the Pate when he turns his nose up at most brands' pate. It's a win-win when the cat likes it and it's healthy :)

  12. Your precious ladies love Wellness. My cat Dusty did too (before she passed). She also was a fan of the wet food like your girls. Yes it's really important to make sure our furbabies get that water content in their diet daily. It really helps to avoid complications later with age. Nice job mom! You're on top of things!

  14. Wet food for our pets (cats and dogs) is in my opinion, is an important part of feeding - giving them not only the nourishment they require, but is helpful in getting more fluids into pets that don't necessarily drink enough water. It seems your kitties are really enjoying the Wellness food!

  15. Look at all of that yummy food & those treats your momma brought you home! Its a good thing we don't live next door because I know two dogs that would be begging at your door for a treat or two every morning.

  16. That's great that Wellness removed carrageenan. I think my Olive would like the Gravies variety that they have to offer. I will definitely have to check it out! How cute that flat Truffle and Brulee got to go shopping with you.

  17. I don't like seeing carrageenan in wet food either so it's great that Wellness is removing it! He's had their treats but he hasn't tried any of the canned food yet.

  21. I tend to prefer the small locally run "mom and pop" shops you know? BUT I did pop into Pet smart to get some engine cleaner (we have an indoor potty for our tiny dog) that was on sale and I was thrilled to find a tiny, SUPER light weight dog rain coat. And best thing? They GAVE it to me! Was part of a little promotion for Canada's 150th birthday celebration. So that was cool!

We make our own pet food ... but yes Carrageenan in in human food too sadly. nearly all the almond and coconut milks sold have it. YUCK. So we make our own. Yes crazy health freaks over here. LOL

  23. I totally thought you were really in the shopping cart! I had to take a double look. Super happy about their recycling program.

  24. My cat eats Wellness food along with another brand. He is not picky when it comes to texture, but my mom's foster cat is. I'm glad to know that Wellness is helping reduce waste. We only have one planet and we need to take care of it!

  25. That's great that Wellness reformulated their food to make it even better AND theyre working to reduce waste. I love when companies keep worrying to improve.

  26. I do not have cats :) When feeding Layla I cook for her as I feel safer that way, it is the same as I only cook for myself and rarely eat out.

  27. We don't have cats anymore, but I remember what a battle it used to be to get them to drink enough water. Gravies are a great idea to entice them to drink more.
