Caturday Art

Every once in awhile, Brulee will post for a photo and Mom Paula is thrilled she was able to capture a photo.  However, when she looks at the final product, it wasn't quite in focus enough or the lighting wasn't good and Brulee's fur is yellow instead of white/silver.  That's when she takes the opportunity to mess with graphic effects with apps, such as LunaPic.  This photo of Brulee was one such photo. It was early one morning and she actually looked at Mom Paula with her eyes open.  The lighting wasn't great, so Brulee came out looking yellow.  Using the beauty effect on LunaPic, we came up with this stunning piece of artwork of Brulee.
Brulee using "beauty" effect in LunaPic

We admit Brulee is more beautiful in her natural furs, but this artwork is something Mom Paula would frame and hang in the house.

  9. This is really lovely art! My human does lots of color correction in Photoshop - sometimes the lighting plays tricks on the camera exposure!

  10. Beautiful art and I'm bet she looks better in pink than yellow anyway.
I don't know if PicMonkey or any of the other apps have this option, but when I come yellow, TW used the Auto Color or Auto Tone options in Photoshop to correct the colors. It's only one click and easy.

  11. That's beautiful! What a great idea! I'll have to have Mom try that, 'cause she has similar trouble taking pics of me. My black fur tends to look brown in some images or my eye color in pics don't turn out quite right. It is hard for cameras to capture our true essence! (blows a kiss) Valentine (& Mom)
