Sleeping in Style - TrustyPup Giveaway

Did you know cats sleep from 16-20 hours a day?  Mom Paula is happy if she can get 6 hours of sleep.  Dogs tend to sleep 12-14 hours per day.  We cats tend to sleep anywhere, but we've noticed our dog friends generally sleep on beds, the floor, or furniture (we know there are other places, but we base this on our woofie cousins).  Mom Paula has tried many cat beds with us and we tend to ignore them.  However, our woofie cousin, Bandit, loves to sleep in dog beds.  He will be 9 years old next month and is beginning to get a little arthritis, so he needs a comfortable bed.

Disclosure- received TrustyPup bed from Worldwise for review

We've reviewed other products from Worldwise in the past and thought we'd let our woofie cousin, Bandit, review the TrustyPup Memory Dreamer™ dog bed.

The TrustyPup Memory Dreamer™ dog bed is plush and will hug your dog's body and create the ultimate sleeping place.  The bed is machine washable and is a large size (36 inches x 26 inches x 9 inches).  The bed is available in two colors: slate or plum. The bed is made of memory foam cushion (our humans know how good this feels) which helps relieve painful joints and achy muscles.  The bed is substantial bolster filled  with high-loft fiber for comfort.

We wanted to show Bandit experiencing the Memory Dreamer dog bed for the first time, so Mom Paula walked into the house with her camera and announced the bed to Bandit.  You can see how happy he was to receive his new bed with the video below.  The video is raw footage, so you can see both Bandit's and the humans' reactions.

Grandma Faye told Bandit to get in his bed and stay for our photo shoot and video.  We didn't know if he'd really like it or not once we left.  Only time would tell... Lately, Bandit hasn't been sleeping through the night.  He's waking up several times crying and barking and Grandma Faye can't figure out what's wrong.  The night Bandit received the TrustyPup Memory Dreamer Dog Bed, he slept through the entire night.  When Grandma Faye came in the den the next morning, he was snoozing in his new bed.  Bandit continues to sleep through the night in his TrustyPup Memory Dreamer bed.

  1. Our cats steal or dog's beds all the time. We have several throughout the house, so he can usually fine one to sleep on at least! But yes, our cats love dog beds.

  5. Actually I would love to see if Dakota would sleep in that bed. Because it is open, and he could walk into it, I would be hopeful he would. I have tried so many beds and he doesn't like any of them! He sleeps on the floor, but being a Sheltie with so much fur that isn't so bad. Looks like a great bed! DakotasDen

  6. I have three Treeing Walker Coonhounds and three cats (all rescues). At night, the three dogs sleep on my bed (sometimes leaving me not enough room so I'm hanging halfway off the bed). Two of the cats sleep on my daughter's bed, and the third one sleeps on the cat tree in the living room. During the day, though, my two boy dogs sleep mostly in the living room (on the one couch they're allowed on), on the dog bed in that room (they could use another one there), or just on the floor (Seiji, especially, likes to find a sun puddle and will just sleep on the floor to be in it). My girl sleeps in the TV room where I'm mostly at during the day (computer, etc. is in there). She'll sometimes jump up on the old couch I sit on, sleep in her crate (which is left open, but she will go in there to sleep), or on a blanket on the floor. Again, another room we could use another dog bed for. The cats sleep wherever they want during the day, but occasionally join the dogs on the couch or the dog bed.

  7. Bandit is adorable! My dogs love to sleep on the most comfortable thing that is close to me, usually the sofa or dog bed. Although we have a couple of beds, with 4 pets, we can always use more. This one looks very luxurious!

  11. BOL! Love Bandit's reaction...."NEW TOY, MOM! It comes with a PULL-TAB!" Ha! My cats love the dog bed. Magic prefers a flat mat to sleep on but he's so big, probably hard for him to get comfy in anything else.

  12. I love Bandit's reaction to the bed! Edie and my cat's love a comfortable bed and I like how the Trusty Pup bed has memory foam for comfort, especially for older pets.

  22. This bed looks super comfy! We have two beds for the dogs. One is larger than the other. Invariably, the dogs wind up sharing the same bed, even when the other is right next to them. It's comical, particularly when they are vying for space in the tiny round bed.

  23. Sounds like a comfortable dog bed. The video is a nice extra! If we got this bed, I can guarantee our cats would steal it the way they have all the other pet beds. ;-)

  24. Layla starts on the bed, then her box, then her bed and then back to my bed, its a very busy night LOL

  25. That looks like quite the cozy and spacious bed. Mr. N prefers to be where the humans are but he has beds scattered around the house.

  26. This bed sounds super comfy! We are all bed fans around here and have several around the house. But with 6 cats and a dog we could always use more! We will be entering the giveaway for sure. Thanks, ladies!

  27. The Poodle Pair buddy up together in one bed. When they aren't around, Marty (my cat) has started laying in one of the beds, even though he has a bed of his own, I think he believes he's doing something rebellious! Bandit looks like he's adopted that bed just fine. The memory foam would make it super comfy.

  28. aw... to bad it's for US residents only! Will go see what they have for the tiny sized crew!
