Groundhog Day

We don't know what that ole' groundhog is going to see today, but we know we don't want any of the cold, white stuff down here in South Carolina.

We rarely have snow in South Carolina, especially from the midlands to the coast.  When we realized today was Groundhog Day, we had to go back into our archives from January 2014 when we saw our first snow ever and we'll be five  years old this summer.  Don't you just love the big eyes when we see the ground looking like us?

Update:  Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow this morning, so it looks like we will get an early spring. Anyone else ready for warmer weather? https://goo.gl/CHtlEu.

  1. I wish we had snow, we have had such a warm winter with no snow here in Switzerland!

  2. Girls, I completely agree with your opinion! Lets make a pact to teach that ol' ground hog a lesson if he doesn't give us the result we want!

  3. I have yet to see any snow! The weather humans hinted that it might have snowed in Portland while we were there, but it never got quite cold enough. Oh, but it was plenty cold for me and my human!

  6. I do love your wide eyes in this photo! It doesn't seem like you were all that impressed with snow. Don't worry, I'm not either. We've actually had a very mild winter here in Metro Detroit. It's been oddly "warm" compared to other years. I'm still excited for spring, though!

  14. We had a little bit of snow the other morning but it didn't stick. It warmed up too much but it is still way too cold for me!
