The Cats of 2016 Weekly Planner Giveaway

We like to give back to the cat blogging community when we have the opportunity because of how much they've done for Mom Paula, Angel Sweet Praline, and us over the past 7 1/2 years.  We've sponsored the Secret Paws Holiday Gift Exchange for six years and have published four different calendars,

Cat Blogging Calendars published by Mom Paula

Angel Sweet Praline helped Mom Paula publish a wall calendar from photos submitted by cats in the Cat Blogosphere for a contest that was held and people voted for their favorite "Nude Cat of the CB." We loved this calendar, but we were limited to 12 cats for the calendar because each had a full color photo.  We lost Sweet Praline in 2011, so this calendar is very special to us.  Two years ago, we helped Mom Paula put together a page-a-day tear-off calendar (cover designed by Ann Adamus from Zoolatry) of over 365 photos of blogging cats from around the world.  This calendar was a lot of fun because the humans could tear off a photo each day and see their blogging friends.  The difficulty with publishing this calendar is that there was only one company that could publish this calendar, but Mom Paula had to pay for all of the calendars in advance, have them shipped to her, and then she would ship them to everyone.  It was a lot of work, but a very successful calendar.  Unfortunately, this company no longer publishes customized page-a-day calendars.

Last year, we still wanted to put together a calendar, but couldn't find another publisher to do the page-a-day calendar.  Our cat-blogging human friends suggested doing a weekly calendar where we could have room to write things down.  We found a wonderful publishing company, Lulu, to put together the calendar.  Cat bloggers from around the world contributed full-color photos and Mom Paula worked to put them collages for a 13-month weekly planner.  The cover was designed by Debbie Glovatsky of Glogirly.  The quality of the calendar was outstanding with full-color photos, heavy-weight paper, and coil bound.

We're happy to announce that we published another weekly-planner for 2016.  Cats from around the world once again contributed their photos to be included in a collage for each week.  This time, we included holidays and special pet blogging  (primarily cat related) days in the calendar. The cover was designed by Ann Adamus from Zoolatry.  A very special thank you goes out to Pattie Kleinke from Stunning Keisha for proofreading the calendars the past three years.  The calendar is coil-bound and is 8.5 x 11 inches in size.  Each page includes the names of the cats, the name of the webpage, and the address for the blog.  You can purchase the calendar at our Lulu page for $28.85.  If you search the Internet, you can find some discount codes.

We're so proud of the calendars and all of the contributions from our cat blogging friends.  To start off 2016, we're hosting a giveaway for one of the calendars.  We'd like to offer it to any of our friends, both in the USA and internationally.  However, if someone wins the calendar who doesn't live in the USA, we're asking you to pay the shipping costs (we'll notify you how much it will be).

  4. I need one for work!
Usually use my phone, but nothing like a good 'real' calendar to have by your computer to help keep you organized!

  5. Mom Paula works very hard with all the lovely calendars. My mum used last years calendar by making 2 columns and used one for herself and one for me and recorded all my medication, how much I eat and my weight. In fact every single thing about me so it is all on record. She has started doing the same this year. It is invaluable when she rings my vet because she can tell him everything. She even records what my poop is like!!!

  29. I absolutely LOVE my CB daily planner! That's where I put everything from appointments to sponsored post due dates to post ideas. :) I also have a page-a-day calendar on my desk. I just purchased a bulletin board to hang a regular monthly calendar, too. And I have one dry-erase calendar I use to keep track of things, too. Lots of calendars here - but my favorite is the CB one.
